Below are four short excerpts from two Coursera courses made by Jonah Stern for Penn's School of Design in 2014.
Course instructors: Jonathan Barnett, Gary Hack, and Stefan Al.
The course explores visionary and practical concepts of city design and planning, past and present, and how design can address such looming challenges as urban population growth, climate change and rising sea levels. Participants will be encouraged to make proposals for city design and development, starting with their own immediate environment.

This video is about the Research Schools International global exchange program in association with the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The program pairs elementary school children in the United States with elementary school children in countries all over the world that have diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, seeking to create connections between the two groups beginning at a young age.
