After moving to the US, top fashion influencer, model, and author Simonetta Lein decides to help everyday people achieve their dreams. She starts an online movement called "The Wishwall": a place to submit meaningful wishes for everybody to see. Simonetta and her husband Raphael subsequently set up a charity The Wishwall Foundation with the scope of helping to make meaningful wishes come true.
Simonetta Lein is an Italian blogger, author, fashion icon, and activist. She has written The Huffington Post, Marie Claire, Vogue Italia, Elle, Forbes, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and other publications in Italy and the United States. She has also modeled at New York Fashion Week for Richie Rich and Dair Design.
In 2015, Simonetta moved from Italy to Philadelphia, where she founded The Wishwall Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization and social community. The Foundation is built on the “pay it forward” philosophy. Its core principals are to give a voice to the voiceless and to help make meaningful wishes come true. The Wishwall Foundation is multi-faceted. It consists of The Wishwall Online and The Wishwall in Every City, where people can express their wishes and where the Foundation inspires them to help each other and grant those dreams that are more meaningful.
The Wishwall Foundation collaborates with other non-profit groups that promote social integration and the defense of human rights, as well as with companies who wish to sponsor worthy initiatives. The Wishwall Foundation seeks to be a global movement that inspires people and unites humanity through art, fashion, and goodwill.
The Wishwall Foundation has been featured on CBS Philly, Fox 29, Metro Philadelphia, and Charity Buzz.
